Bill Belichick’s 24-Year-Old GF Jordon Hudson Claps Back at Mary Kay Cabot Over Hall of Fame Jab With Sly Reshare

As the Hall of Fame weekend has been going on, veteran NFL reporter Mary Kay Cabot made what others have seen as a dig at Bill Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. But Hudson did not find it funny, and she made that clear through a repost on X.

Cabot made the comments during her Hall of Fame speech on Friday after accepting the Bill Nunn Jr. award.

“If Bill didn’t like something I wrote, he’d call and yell at me,” she said.

“Now I totally understand why Bill gave such a hard time,” Cabot added. “I was 28 (years old) at the time and he just couldn’t relate to a woman that old.”

Hudson replied to this by reposting a fan message on X, which said:

“Not much of a “laugh.” No wonder so many have contempt for the media, especially those who want to be the story rather than rEport on the story.”

The former cheerleader has said very little since her romance with Bill Belichick became known earlier this year. Her response, however, indicates that there are boundaries to the public discourse, particularly when it is personal.

What Lies Ahead for Bill Belichick’s First Season at UNC?

The 2025 football season of North Carolina is a new era for the football team with a new coach in Bill Belichick, who replaces Mack Brown. The locker room is almost completely new, and most of his core contributors are gone as well. Therefore, Belichick has focused on incorporating the transfer portal, recruiting talent, and developing a disciplined, team-first mindset similar to what he had in New England.

On the quarterbacking front, UNC will hope that Gio Lopez, a transfer from South Alabama, can take the reins, with in-state quarterback Bryce Baker likely to enter the mix as well, both of them are still rough around the edges but with potential.

In a news conference ahead of practice on Saturday, Bill Belichick shared his thoughts on the team’s offense.

“I think we have the players to run that type of offense,” Belichick said During his day 1 press conference according to CBS. “I’m sure we’re gonna have to modify it a little bit. But we have good depth at quarterback, so we’ll see how it all plays out.”

The defense is also getting stronger, led by Viliami Moala, the mammoth defensive tackle who switched over from Oregon and adds bulk to a line that already has depth and disruption. Back at cornerback, Thaddeus Dixon and emerging Pryce Yates are the anchors of a secondary that should improve with new DC Stephen Belichick.

Their schedule is a manageable one on paper, but opens with a match-up against TCU on Labor Day in Chapel Hill on Sept. 1.
