With the 2025 NFL Draft now finished, 257 former college players have found homes in the pro ranks.
But it doesn’t end there, as undrafted free agency begins the second Mr. Irrelevant is announced. Players are added to minicamp and training camp rosters with a signing bonus in hopes of surviving the daunting cuts and making the final 53-man roster come September.
Which undrafted players are most likely to make the final roster and have an impact on the field?

Biggest Impact Undrafted Free Agent Signings in 2025
RB Marcus Yarns, New Orleans Saints
At 5’11”, 190 pounds, Yarns is an absolute speedster. He spent four seasons as the Delaware Blue Hens’ RB, averaging 6.3 yards per carry as a senior. Though the Saints have established depth in the backfield, Yarns could find a way on the roster as a returner and a pass-catching option out of the backfield. He caught 17 passes in 2024 and averaged a stunning 17.5 yards per catch, aided greatly by a long of 86 yards.
WR Xavier Restrepo, Tennessee Titans
Though the Titans refined their receiver room by signing veterans Tyler Lockette and Van Jefferson and drafting two WRs in the fourth round, Restrepo is one of the top candidates to beat the odds and claim a roster spot.
Surprisingly undrafted, Tennessee opted to pair No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward with his top Miami target in hopes of some Hurricane magic in the pros. Restrepo’s route-running and quickness could stand out — and with extra targets from Ward, it not crazy to believe he could make the 53-man roster.
WR Nick Nash, Atlanta Falcons
The college football leader in receiving yards (1,382), catches (104) and touchdown receptions (16) in 2024 went undrafted but finds himself in a favorable situation in terms of making the final roster. Depth-wise, Nash would fit right behind Falcons’ star WR Drake London, who is just one inch taller than the former San Jose State Spartan.
30-year-old KhaDarel Hodge is assuming the backup position, but he totaled just 131 receiving yards a season ago. Along with the visible potential for a roster spot, Nash’s talent and ability to get open in the middle of the field match QB Michael Penix Jr.’s skillset.
TE Jake Biringstool, Kansas City Chiefs
One of the best receiving TEs that was draft-eligible, Biringstool finds a perfect spot to stick in the league and develop into a quality player. The former Clemson Tiger was one of QB Cade Klubnik’s favorite targets due to his size (6’6″, 240 pounds), athleticism, route-running ability, and reliable hands. Not much of a blocker, Biringstool could learn under Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, who has a similar body type and play style.
OL Clay Webb, Denver Broncos
Webb began his career with the Georgia Bulldogs after being ranked as a five-star prospect, per 247 Sports. He had trouble getting on the field, so he joined the Jacksonville State Gamecocks for the final three seasons of his career. While with the Gamecocks, he received many accolades and has set himself up to make an impact in the NFL as a versatile player who can play anywhere on the line.
The Broncos need to shore up their depth, and Webb is a strong candidate to unseat a backup and assume the role of a swing player at each position on the line.
EDGE Tyler Batty, Minnesota Vikings
Batty’s age — he’ll be 26 years old by the start of the season — may have been the driving reason behind him going undrafted. It still was a surprise, as the former BYU Cougars was named to the All-Big 12 Second-Team in 2023 and All-Big 12 First-Team in 2024.
He may not have a high ceiling, but he’s projected to be able to contribute in a rotational role right away. Meanwhile, the Vikings could use a pass-rusher with a relentless motor and someone with scheme and position versatility.
LB Shaun Dolac, Los Angeles Rams
Dolac is no stranger to the feeling of being undrafted, as the former Buffalo Bull walked on to the team.
It didn’t take long before he established himself as one of the top players in the MAC, culminating in a dominant fifth-year senior season in which he led the nation with 168 total tackles, achieved a MAC-best 19 tackles for loss, and had five interceptions. Dolac doesn’t have an NFL frame at just 6’1″, 225 pounds, but his mentality and relentless effort could appeal to the Rams, especially on special teams, where he could be a star.
CB Cobee Bryant, Atlanta Falcons
Widely expected to be drafted, Bryant’s disappointing 4.53 40-yard dash may have been the deciding factor in teams deciding to pass on the former Kansas Jayhawk.
Despite that, he was a top-priority UDFA signing for many teams, and he landed with the Falcons, where his physicality and hard-nosed mentality will be much appreciated. There isn’t much accomplished depth in Atlanta’s corner position, presumably giving Bryant a fair chance at competing for a spot on the team.
P James Burnip, New Orleans Saints
The former Crimson Tide punter will be brought to New Orleans to compete with 2024 rookie Matthew Hayball, who wasn’t great in 2024. He averaged 44.0 yards per punt, which ranked 34th among players who qualified.
Burnip, a Canadian native, averaged 45.4 yards per punt a season ago and downed 19 kicks inside the 20-yard line. Burnip has the bigger leg and could send Hayball packing with a good performance in training camp.
K Caden Davis, New York Jets
Davis has an NFL-caliber leg, nailing a 56- and 57-yarder in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, respectively. Accuracy is a concern for the former Ole Miss kicker, as he hit on 82.8% of his field goals a season ago.

Signed by the Jets, who have uncertainty at the position with both Greg Zuerlein and Anders Carlson on the roster — who have both had their struggles in recent years — there’s a path for Davis to win the job. Don’t be surprised if he’s New York’s opening day kicker come September.
