It’s not much of a surprise that Clemson is again at the top of the ACC odds. The Tigers are still the best in the conference despite having a few “down” years by their high standards. With quarterback Cade Klubnik taking on a more significant leadership role and head coach Dabo Swinney having built a consistent winner, Clemson’s offense appears ready for a breakout year.
It might surprise some casual fans that Texas Tech has quietly developed a contender under Joey McGuire. The Red Raiders finished the 2024 season strong, and they’re ready to contend for the Big 12 title with a returning quarterback and much-improved defense. Although they still have a fast-paced and aggressive offense, oddsmakers are paying attention to their defensive upgrades.
Ohio State is still one of the best teams in the Big Ten. Even when the Buckeyes don’t win a national championship, they are constantly at the heart of the conference. Their 2025 roster is loaded again, with arguably the best group of wide receivers in the country and a retooled defense that showed flashes of dominance last season.
Texas is a new member of the SEC, and they are quickly establishing themselves as a formidable force. The Longhorns have one of the best lineups going into their first full SEC season after a successful 2024 season. Even though Quinn Ewers is leaving for the NFL, the Longhorns have one of the top offensive lines in the nation and a thriving quarterback pipeline.
