Week 11 of the college football season is here. As the season continues to play out, conference championship races are starting to heat up. Teams at the top of major conferences like the SEC and Big Ten are competing for the two spots in their conference’s championship game. Here is a look at a few of the top matchups of the week, including two that feature two ranked opponents facing off.

Week 11: Best College Football Games Today
Texas Tech vs. BYU
One of the most interesting matchups of the week is between the No. 8-ranked BYU Cougars and No. 9-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders at Noon ET on Saturday. They are the two highest-ranked teams in the Big 12, but it’s competitive at the top of the conference.
The Cougars are undefeated and sit in sole possession of first place. With a win, they will likely ensure that they reach the Big 12 championship game. However, things could get dicey with a loss.
Texas Tech sits second in the conference, having only lost one game this season to Arizona State. While the Red Raiders are in a good position right now, a loss could push them out of the lead position for a Big 12 championship game slot. They have the tiebreaker over Cincinnati, but if they lose, they will no longer control their fate.

Texas A&M vs. Missouri
Another interesting matchup on Saturday is between No. 3-ranked Texas A&M and No. 19-ranked Missouri. The Aggies are looking to secure their spot at the top of the SEC standings, whereas the Tigers are trying to stay in championship contention.
Texas A&M is undefeated and has been one of the best teams in college football this year. Conversely, Missouri is coming off a bye after losing 17-10 to No. 15-ranked Vanderbilt two weeks ago.
LSU vs. Alabama
While there are only two games this week featuring multiple ranked opponents, there are still some other interesting games. One is an SEC matchup between the No. 4-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers.
The Crimson Tide are on a seven-game winning streak after losing their season opener against Florida State. They are looking to separate themselves from the pack of teams below them in the SEC that includes Ole Miss, Georgia, and Texas.
While LSU has struggled in recent weeks, which led to them firing head coach Brian Kelly, we are interested to see how the team performs after the coaching change.
