Max Scherzer, Kevin Gausman and Their Better Halves Soak Up Tropical Vibes With Shane Bieber and His Wife Kara on Dreamy Blue Jays Getaway

The Toronto Blue Jays’ stars finally made the dream trip a reality, as stars like Max Scherzer, Kevin Gausman, and Shane Bieber, along with their better halves, traveled to St. Barts, a French-speaking Caribbean island.

On Wednesday, Bieber’s wife, Kara Maxine, shared snippets from their trip with fellow Blue Jays stars and their better halves as she revealed that it was a trip out of a group chat.

Kara shared several pictures, including one where she is standing overlooking the ocean in a colorful outfit. Next up, she shared a group photo in which all the couples and some friends were sitting at a table and having their drinks. Kara also shared their evening vibes, which they spent near a pool. There was also a cozy picture of Shane Bieber getting romantic with his wife against a scenic backdrop. The group also celebrated the birthday of veteran pitcher Max Scherzer’s wife, Erica.

Shane Bieber’s Wife Kara Gets Honest About Moving To Toronto

Shane Bieber was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in the mid-season by the Cleveland Guardians while he was still recovering from Tommy John surgery. The move turned out to be absolutely best as not only did Bieber make his debut for Toronto, but he also got the chance to pitch in the World Series against the LA Dodgers.

Ever since the couple shifted to Toronto, they have been generously welcomed and embraced by the city. While they couldn’t win the championship, the memories Kara created were warm enough for her to give a shout-out to everyone who made them feel special.

“I’ll never forget how Shane and I would be almost giddy after games, just talking about how lucky we felt to be surrounded by such incredible humans,” Kara wrote in the caption. “I’d tell him how amazing the women were, and he’d smile and say the same about the guys. We felt so welcomed from the moment we got to Canada. It’s something we’ll cherish forever 🤍”

Bieber’s love and loyalty for Toronto showed up in his offseason decision. Instead of turning a free agent, he accepted the qualifying offer to extend his stay in Toronto, where he’ll be part of a key rotation in the 2026 season.
