Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman and his wife, Taylor, are chilling in St. Barths during the offseason. The couple is sending romantic vibes from the French Caribbean island.
On Wednesday, Gausman’s wife shared a photo in which the couple is looking into each other’s eyes while standing near the shoreline of St. Barths. Gausman is shirtless, wearing just colorful shorts, a cap and dark sunglasses. Meanwhile, Taylor is wearing a stylish printed bikini while also wearing dark sunglasses. In another snapshot, they are posing together, with lush green mountains and a boat in the distance.

Kevin Gausman and Taylor first met while attending Louisiana State University, where the right-hander was a pitcher for the Tigers. They got engaged in 2015 and got married in December 2016. The couple shares two daughters: Sadie, born in January 2019, and Sutton, born in August 2021.
During an interview with MLB.com in June 2025, Gausman revealed that how becoming a father made him humble towards the sport.
“For me, [parenthood] puts more perspective into my life in general,” Kevin told MLB.com. “The biggest thing it helped me with is to realize that this is just a game.”
On the professional front, Taylor is a photographer, running a photography business and sharing portraits, travel shots, and candid family moments online.
Kevin Gausman’s Message To His Daughters Before the World Series
The Blue Jays defeated the Seattle Mariners to reach their first World Series since 1993. The excitement was quite high among the players themselves as they talked about what the World Series ring would mean to them.
Kevin Gausman revealed his daughter’s inquiry about the World Series ring before their encounter took place against the LA Dodgers.
“I’ve told them that daddy is trying to get a big trophy and a big ring,” he told KiSS 92.5. “[I told them] if I get the ring, they can wear it whenever they want. They’re pretty fired up. The idea of getting a big, huge ring is really exciting for two little girls.”
However, Gausman and the Blue Jays couldn’t win it all, with the Dodgers coming back from behind to register an extra-innings win in World Series Game 7.
