Labor Day Weekend is almost here, and that just means that the 2025 college football season is about to kick off as well. While the games will officially kick off on Aug. 24, the big games are slated for Saturday, Aug. 30, which will feature some of the biggest matchups in college football.
A total of 60 big games are slated on that date, many of which have a big match feel, with some of the biggest collegiate programs making their season debut.

While there are some very big games scheduled on that day, such as LSU @ Clemson and Syracuse @ Tennessee, the biggest showdown is expected to be early-season favorites Texas, with their new QB1, Arch Manning, taking on the defending champions, Ohio State.

Where To Watch the Biggest Games on August 30?
As for where to watch these big games, the Ohio State vs. Texas game will be broadcast live via Fox. This is a must-win for both teams, as both want to begin their 2025 campaign strong.
Meanwhile, ABC will be broadcasting Syracuse vs. Tennessee, as well as Alabama vs. Florida State and LSU vs. Clemson. ESPN will be broadcasting Mississippi State vs. Southern Miss, Marshall vs. Georgia, UTSA vs. Texas A&M, and California vs. Oregon State.
Fox will also show South Dakota vs. Iowa State and Utah vs. UCLA. The majority of the games will be streamed by ESPN+, including Temple vs. Massachusetts and Holy Cross vs. Northern Illinois.
