‘Bro About To Get Generational Wealth’: Fans Abuzz As Auburn Star WR Cam Coleman Announces Transfer Portal Decision

The Auburn Tigers’ wide receiver, Cam Coleman, has decided to enter the transfer portal when it opens on January 2nd. Coleman joined Auburn in 2024 and was seen as the Tigers’ long-term offensive prospect.

Over two seasons, he had shown improvement with his numbers. Coleman had 598 yards, eight touchdowns, and 37 receptions in 2024. This season, he registered 708 yards, five touchdowns, and 56 receptions.

On3’s Hayes Fawcett recently reported that Coleman is now planning to enter the transfer portal and explore his options for the rest of his college career. Some fans, on the other hand, are seeing it as an opportunity for him to make more money.

“Bro about to get generational wealth,” a fan wrote.

“We all knew it was coming but still big. Will Texas Tech come calling with that oil money?” a fan wrote.

“Somebody from Auburn better turn off the faucet they are bleeding players-many of their top players. Are they worried about the golesh experiment,” a fan wrote.

“Actually very curious where he ends up, don’t think he’ll care to much about nil maybe leaning more towards a very good qb situation next year. But that’s just me talking outta my a*s,” a fan wrote.

“Anyone that doesn’t want to be st Auburn can move on. Just another player that believes in NIL money instead of hard work,” a fan wrote.

“Auburn is in shambles. Ohh man. Looks like he’s coming to us or Georgia,” a fan wrote.

There’s no doubt that teams would be lining up and closely monitoring the Coleman situation now. The 19-year-old wide receiver has a lot of potential and can be a crucial addition to several programs that are looking to make a giant leap next season.

Where Should Cam Coleman Go Next?

Once the transfer portal opens, Coleman will have plenty of options to choose from. The number five-ranked recruit of the 2024 class is one of the most highly touted wide receivers in the college football circle.

First in line of potential programs to recruit Coleman would be the Texas A&M Aggies. Coleman was previously committed to them in 2024; they have great leadership under Mike Elko, and can easily match his $1.8 million NIL valuation.

Since Coleman was born in Alabama, the Crimson Tide connection might also play a major role in his transfer portal window. He will have other great options, such as Colorado, LSU, and Georgia, to choose from as well.
