Jackson Arnold has made a move through the transfer portal this week. He is transferring from the Auburn Tigers to play for the UNLV Rebels ahead of the 2026 college football season. The move was announced on Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, Arnold’s girlfriend, Skyler Marshall, uploaded a picture of the couple from the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The couple posed near the UNLV building with Skyler inking a heartfelt message upon the latest development:
“Nobody more deserving of success than you!! Let’s go to Vegas!!”
Skyler uploaded two ID cards, issued each for the couple, and added a heart emoji to them.
They enjoyed the evening in Las Vegas, and the duo got captured in front of a fountain with the decorated city and its skyline in the background. Skyler reacted to what many feel when they spend the night in Vegas:
“ok but this place is so cool!”
Skyler Remaining With Jackson Arnold Despite Transfer Portal Decisions In Past Three Years
With the signing of Jackson Arnold, the Rebels filled their quarterback vacancy as they were able to replace former starter Anthony Colandrea, who transferred out. Arnold was a five-star recruit out of high school and started his college career with the Oklahoma Sooners. This is where he met his girlfriend, Skyler Marshall, who studied business marketing there.
At Oklahoma, he had an up-and-down run, appearing in just two games, and was benched in 2024, following which he entered the transfer portal and went to Auburn. He struggled to consistently lead Auburn’s offense and had a disappointing 2025 campaign, giving way to another transfer portal decision, which culminated in UNLV signing.
During all this, his girlfriend Skyler remained a steadfast supporter. When he was with Auburn, she would cheer for the quarterback and has even accompanied him to Auburn’s SEC Media Days. Skyler is from Frisco, Texas. When her boyfriend’s Auburn played Oklahoma in 2025, she called it her “Super Bowl.”
Apart from this, the two have traveled together to Melbourne, Australia. Skyler has documented the experience and shared it with her followers on Instagram.
