In a society where college football stars are generally tight-lipped regarding their own lives, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is bucking the trend. The emerging NFL hopeful is already recognized for his downhill-stopping bursts and slippery evasiveness in the open field.
And with that, he’s also making headlines for his uplifting girlfriend relationship with long-time companion Gabrielle Miller. In one another, they’ve found a foundation fortified by love, respect, and a shared spirit to succeed both athletically and otherwise

Ashton Jeanty’s High School Love Story Grounded in Sports
Ashton and Gabrielle Miller have dated since they were Lone Star High School students in Frisco, Texas. While Jeanty was making news as a high-profile football prospect, Miller was making headlines in the track and field world.
Their courtship grew organically, united by shared competitive drive. With that, they gain an understanding of the demands of being a student-athlete.
Miller was an incredible sprinter and relay athlete, competing at the highest levels of Texas high school track. She qualified for the AAU Junior Olympics in the 4×100-meter relay and took Lone Star’s girls’ team to the Texas Relays, a feat that has never been accomplished in school history.
She went on to Austin Peay State University after completing high school, where she competed in sprint events. She recently ran a personal record 200-meter dash of 25.69 seconds and continues improving in the 400-meter race, too.
Meanwhile, Jeanty emerged as one of the most explosive playmakers in college football at Boise State. The 5’9″, 210-pound tailback finished the 2024 season with 2,610 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns, leading the Broncos to a Mountain West title and a Fiesta Bowl invitation.
His performance earned him national honors, including nominations for the Maxwell and Doak Walker awards. Though he did not win the Heisman Trophy, his name was consistently among those nominated. Now he is among the top running back prospects in preparation for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Public Support and Playful Competition Among the Couples
While most players prefer to keep their private lives to themselves, Jeanty and Miller have been forthcoming about their relationship. They frequently go on social media to congratulate each other on their achievements. When Jeanty declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, Miller announced the news with an enthusiastic “Bouta go crazy on the next level!!”
Jeanty showed love on Valentine’s Day, posting a series of photos of the couple in matching outfits and promise rings, captioning it, “I love you so much, I’m so blessed to have you.”
Their mutual support goes beyond Instagram. Miller has attended Jeanty’s games on a regular basis, cheering him on in the stands, and Jeanty gladly boasts of her track performance on social media. The two often conduct interviews together, at which time their chemistry and friendly competitiveness are evident.
In a lighthearted moment that made headlines, Jeanty jokingly claimed he could beat Miller in a footrace, a comment she didn’t let slide.
“He always talks about how he’s faster than me,” Miller said during a playful back-and-forth on social media. “But we’ve never raced. Maybe it’s time.”
“She’s always there for him, whether it’s game day or training. She keeps him on track,” a family friend told FirstSportz.

As the 2025 NFL Draft looms, Jeanty’s value continues to increase. Many analysts view him as a second- or third-round prospect. There’s more going on than combine practice and draft board chatter, though. This is one certainty: Gabrielle Miller will ride along just like she always has.
They’re not merely “goals” on social media —they’re evidence that with the right person by your side, anything is possible. Whether they’re racing against one another in practice or cheering each other on at competitions, Ashton and Gabrielle are a power couple to keep an eye on.
