Daniel Jeremiah Cautions Against RB Draft Backlash, Believes Raiders Are Set To Maximize Ashton Jeanty

Prior to joining Colin Cowherd, the former NFL scout held a conference call to share his opinions on some of the top prospects and the teams across the league. Jeremiah has previously hinted at Jeanty for the Raiders:

“I would have said a month ago, Ashton Jeanty will be there, and he would be a great option for them.”

When speaking with Cowherd, Jeremiah shared a word of caution for many teams regarding pushback:

“When you have teams picking up their push back, I have on running backs is man if your team is not ready for them don’t take ’em because you only have six or seven years with these backs so do not waste them on a team that does not have a good offensive line or is a bad situation for them because then you have wasted two or three of those you know six or seven years. You need to have a team who is ready for them.”

The former NFL scout then went on to speak about why the Raiders are the perfect suitor for Ashton Jeanty:

“I can make a strong case the Raiders have some good pieces on that offensive line you know continue to add to it another interior player would be nice.”

Jeremiah mentioned the progress of the Bears who have revamped their group.

As of now, the Raiders are looking forward to leveraging the strong draft evaluations to improve their roster, potentially targeting positions that align with the strengths of the players they already have.

It is no secret that the Raiders exemplify how robust scouting and player development can transform draft selections into standout performers. This confirms Jeremiah’s belief about which team will be able to get the most out of Jeanty’s services.
