Ashaad Hall is Hitting the Transfer Portal

“South Carolina State EDGE Ashaad Hall plans to enter the transfer portal, his agency @QCSports tells @SWiltfong and I.” Nakos tweeted.

Hall had a strong season at South Carolina State, posting 31 tackles, 23 solo tackles, and 14 tackles for loss. He also had 11 sacks and three forced fumbles. As far back as November, Ryan Roberts identified him in an article as a “Power Five pass rusher at 6’4″ and 235 pounds, with room to grow.”

This was before the portal’s December 9th winter window, when Roberts also said that players like Hall could use the portal to transfer up and test their talent elsewhere.

    Where does Hall land?

An article by Alexander O’Reilly on Sportskeeda states that he believes the South Carolina Gamecocks would be a good option for him as he could stay in the state and focus on earning playing time there.

The Georgia Bulldogs are another option for him as players have left for the NFL draft and the transfer portal again.

The Florida State Seminoles would be another school, according to O’Reilly.

“When a prestigious program like Florida State has a disastrous campaign, there are usually opportunities for lesser-known players to earn jobs. So the Seminoles could be a fit for Ashaad Hall.

Hall himself, though, has not declared which school he will be going to at this point.
