After some bad games early in the season, Arch Manning finally found his groove in that 52-37 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. This means that the Longhorns have a lot of momentum going into the Lone Star Showdown against Texas A&M. Manning played really well in that win over the Razorbacks, but a quote from him has surfaced that has him talk some smack against their cross-state rivals.
“Don’t f*** with me, I’m him. A&M ain’t got sh** on us,” he allegedly said.

He allegedly said this after their win over Arkansas, as hype over the upcoming Lone Star Showdown against the Aggies is mounting. But did he actually say this? The answer is probably not, as no other big news sites have reported on this, and none of his post-game interviews have featured the said quote.
Manning did say that he was looking forward to facing Texas A&M on Saturday, as the two top Texas teams in the country face off.
“You want to play good teams and go through having to play those good defenses and experiences. Another good team. It’s going to be fun,” he said after the Arkansas game.
This was reported by Inside Texas and is quite the opposite of what the quote above was saying. That being said, Texas is now in a must-win situation against Texas A&M, as their season is literally hanging in the balance. A win over the No. 3 team in the country would exponentially place their rankings way up and improve their playoff chances, while a loss would mean that their season has now ended.

How Did Arch Manning Do Against the Arkansas Razorbacks During That Win?
As for that game against Arkansas, many believe that this reignited the hype for Arch Manning ahead of the season. Texas and Manning lost their opener to Ohio State, killing the hype, and Manning’s struggles as a quarterback did not help. However, his performance against the Razorbacks is changing some minds again.
Manning successfully passed 18 out of 30 attempts for 389 yards. This soon led to four passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and one receiving touchdown. This was so far his best game of the season, and the Longhorns may be hoping that this type of play from him returns on Saturday against the Aggies.
