The Texas vs. Ohio State has kicked off over at Columbus, with a star-studded audience watching two of the top collegiate teams duking it out. However, both teams have so far struggled on the offensive end, with only Ohio State managing to score a touchdown in the first half.
Arch Manning, the scion of the famous Manning clan and Texas QB1, has struggled so far despite all the hype surrounding him coming into the game. His struggles to get the Texas offense going has caught the attention of fans who flooded X, formerly Twitter, with memes and jokes regarding his struggles.

Both teams have been clamping down on defense, with the first quarter ending in a scoreless tie. CJ Ingram was the only player so far to have broken through for either team, scoring a touchdown for Ohio State.
As for Arch Manning, he has been struggling so far, with his first pass attempt in his first-ever start going incomplete, which soon led to some of the memes and many questioning if he would have not been at that position if he were not a Manning.

Arch Manning’s First Half Stats Showed How Much Texas QB Struggled in His First College Start
As the first half ended, Arch Manning was 5 of 10 passing for 26 yards. His passes led to no touchdowns, though there were no interceptions either. While he has shown that he was a dual-threat quarterback after picking up two first downs, his passing game, which the Manning family is quite known for, was struggling.
Manning was also sacked once in the first half, though Texas’ struggles have mostly been attributed to the stifling defense Ohio State has played so far, as defenders pressured him at the line of scrimmage and forced Manning to make some poor throws.
