Arch Manning is building his own legacy at Texas, and so is his brother Heid, who also happens to be a Longhorn. While he is not a football player like Arch, he’s a popular figure among students at the university. It’s a big thanks to his Manning entitlement and quarterback brother, who is set to become the face of the program in 2025.
While speaking about the fame and stardom on campus, Heid mentions that Arch might be a star attraction for football fans, but for him, he is just an annoying sibling who struggles with petty household chores.
Heid Quips About Brother Arch Manning at Texas
The 19-year-old quarterback has always been a popular figure among football fans, as he is somebody who will carry on the Manning legacy and the standards that were set by his two uncles, Eli and Peyton Manning.
While people are aware of Arch due to his football presence, his brother Heid also attends the same college. According to the New York Post, Heid is entering his first semester and has a completely different lifestyle compared to his brother.
“So, it’s fun for both of them to be able to cross over,” dad Cooper Manning told Horns247 in the first week of February. “Arch and Heid are very close, and they both love having each other at the same college.”
“When I meet new people, they get all excited and ask me about him like he’s some sort of superhero. But to me, he’s just the same guy who still doesn’t know how to work a microwave,” Heid said to the outlet.
“Arch is great friends with a bunch of my [fraternity] buddies across all grades, and I’ve become great friends with his teammates, and I think having that crossover is important for him, especially [to have an outlet from football]. We spend a lot of time together. We get lunch a lot and get dinners throughout the week,” Heid added.
Heading into the 2025 season, things are getting serious for Arch, as he will be leading the Texas offense after longtime starter Quinn Ewers left for the NFL Draft.
