Texas Makes A Leap Of Three Spots

The Longhorns improved to 8-3 this week after defeating the Razorbacks. Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning completed 18 of 30 passes for 389 yards and four touchdowns while also adding a score through rushing.

The nature of the win was superlative and that’s why they made gains in McMurphy’s ballot. From No. 21 to No. 18, the Longhorns are making waves, and their next encounter will pretty much decide if they have any chance of making it to the College Football Playoff.

Georgia Tech Slides In Latest Ballot

After a 42-28 loss to Pittsburgh this week, Georgia Tech finds itself in the final spot of the AP Poll Top 25 rankings of McMurphy. They were No. 15 before entering Week 13 but it seems their lopsided loss has them at the bottom of the rankings, as their overall record has also slipped to 9-2.
