Day After Deion Sanders’ Press Conference, Antonio Brown Calls Out Karrueche Tran For Role In Cancer Recovery

Immediately following the great news from Deion Sanders that he is cancer-free and on the healing side of a lengthy journey, NFL star Antonio Brown made a call out to actress Karrueche Tran on social media that hinted at Karrueche’s support of Sanders.

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown tweeted a statement that lit up the timelines:

“Karrueche… baby. This man don’t have a bladder or toes. What are you doing.”

It has been fewer than 24 hours since Deion Sanders, also known as “Coach Prime,” put out the amazing news that he has been officially cancer-free. Sanders, being gracious and on-brand with his honest communication, shared at a press conference how he had a life-threatening bladder cancer diagnosis and had to go through a robot-assisted surgery to have his bladder removed.

His doctor, Dr. Janet Kukreja, his urologist at the University of Colorado, said that the surgery was a complete success and marks a new chapter in his ongoing healing process.

Deion Sanders’ Cancer-Free Announcement Sends a Powerful Message

Sanders’ team described how life-altering his diagnosis, “high grade, high risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer,” has been. Dr. Janet Kukreja, Sanders’ urologist at the University of Colorado, told the press that she was happy to report:

“I am pleased to report that the results from the surgery are that he is cured from the cancer.”

When asked if cancer made him think about stepping away from football, Coach Prime confidently answered:

“I always knew I was going to coach again,” he said, crediting faith for his resilience.

“It was never in my spirit, in my heart, that God wouldn’t allow me to coach again. [I] never thought like that.”

He is now getting ready for the upcoming college football season as the head coach of the University of Colorado Buffaloes, leaving no need for speculation regarding his future in the coaching field. Sanders has also been honest about the complete recovery, making note of the “whole life change” that was from having a bladder removed.

“I truly depend on Depend (Adult diapers); I cannot control my bladder, he said during the press conference

For many, this chain of events reminds us how public figures wrestle with incredibly personal health struggles while being in the public eye. Deion Sanders tackling his own struggles so candidly reminds us that winning off the field can mean just as much as winning in the game.
