‘I’d Love To Know What This Recruiting Class Is Going To Cost’ — Analyst Hints at More Blockbuster USC Commitments Coming

Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans have been dominating the recruiting trail, sitting comfortably with the best class of 2026 in the entire country as of right now.

The Trojans are not getting complacent either. Over the weekend, they had 15 recruits on campus, four of whom were among the top 300 uncommitted players in the country. With all the talent USC seems to be bringing in, analysts are wondering just how deep the Trojans’ pockets are.

USC’s 2026 Top Recruiting Class Has Analysts Shocked

This past weekend, the Trojans hosted their biggest official visit weekend of the 2026 cycle thus far. Wide receiver Boobie Feaster, linebacker Talanoa Ili, cornerback Peyton Dryer, and wide receiver Jalen Lott all traveled to southern California to hear USC’s pitch.

On the “On3 Football Recruiting Show,” USC insider Scott Schrader broke down how the weekend went for the Trojans.

While getting recruits on campus doesn’t always result in a commitment, Schrader logged two predictions from the weekend. He said, “Right now, there are predictions put in for Talanoa Ili and for Peyton Dyer right now for USC.”

As for when the commitments will come in, Schrader said, “I think at least one will probably be announced here, maybe even today, and I think there’s another that is scheduled to maybe be on Father’s Day, which is June 15.”

Schrader was right as just on Monday, June 9, Peyton Dryer announced his commitment to the Trojans, adding to an already stacked class.

USC truly has had an elite 2026 cycle thus far, landing an absurd number of recruits. Schrader claims that the Trojans are not done and that they are looking to take even more. He said, “Yeah, 27 [commits] looking to take 35. I’d love to know what this recruiting class is going to cost when it’s all said and done.”

It’s a valid question, as commitments in today’s day and age are not cheap. With the caliber of commits that USC has at this time, one can only imagine just how much money the Trojans are spending on their 2026 class.

So far, the Trojans have filled out their class with two five-stars and 14 four-stars, which must’ve cost USC a pretty penny.

Ever since the Trojans hired Chad Bowden away from Notre Dame as their general manager, USC has seen a major boost in funding and overall success on the recruiting trail. If the Trojans can continue to win recruitments at this level, then there’s no telling how good USC can become.
