Ethan Feaster’s Decision Nears as Rival School Races With Alabama

Texas A&M has reportedly entered the fray as a serious competitor for Feaster’s pledge, adding intrigue to his recruitment process. With his decision date rapidly approaching, the battle for this coveted prospect is intensifying.

According to Hayes Fawcett, Feaster has narrowed his choices down to four schools: the Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas A&M Aggies, LSU Tigers, and USC Trojans. The DeSoto High School product is planning to make his final commitment on July 4.

Feaster is considered one of the top receivers in the nation and was the subject of high scrutiny after reclassifying from the 2027 class to the Class of 2026. At 6’0.5″ and 175 pounds, according to 247Sports, he racked up 824 yards on 57 catches while scoring 13 touchdowns this past season.

He’s been lauded for his speed after the catch, attributed to his track and field background when he ran a 22.01 200-meter time as a freshman, per MileSplit.

The Aggies appealed heavily to Feaster, who told On3’s Steve Wiltfong about his love of “The 12th Man”, Texas A&M’s fans. “When you get in that stadium, you see LSU had a problem when they played them,” he said. “[Coach Mike Elko,] you see what he did at Duke. Now he’s had a year in the SEC. I feel like they got a chance to make it to the playoffs for sure.”

Feaster is set to visit the school on June 13, with additional visits to USC on June 6 and LSU on June 20. Alabama has made strong overtures to the wideout, with the Crimson Tide’s position coach, JaMarcus Shephard, recently making a trip to visit Feaster, according to Touchdown Alabama.

Feaster also acknowledged that he was inspired to re-classify to the 2026 class by Crimson Tide receiver Ryan Williams, who did the same before joining the team last season. “I saw Ryan Williams do it. That was the biggest thing. I felt like I can do it. I felt like I was ready for college,” Feaster said to Wiltfong.
