As Alabama prepares to bounce back from that Week 1 loss to Florida State, one Crimson Tide running back has gone viral during a team meal, as he was photographed with a cute stuffed animal. Ryan Williams, who is currently on concussion protocol after that loss to the Seminoles, was seen carrying a stuffed animal around as he prepared to have a meal.
This display of softness from the running back had several fans with a certain view of masculinity question why he had been carrying around a stuffed animal during meal time. Many of them got triggered by this, leading to them complaining about it in the comments.

“We have a culture problem,” claimed one commenter.
“Trust me Lou… Us Bama fans are starting to hate this soft little f***r too.” another critic added.
“Auburn dodged a grenade not getting him,” another person added.
Meanwhile, there were still those commenters who defended Ryan Williams, noting that he is the reason why Alabama dominated Georgia previously.
“dude with a f***ing teddy bear owns the entire georgia program, damn,” one fan pointed out.
“He cooked georgia dbs wearing nail polish and carrying a teddy bear,” noted another fan.
“Who cares if he has a bear.” another fan said.
Many fans, especially those who adhere to more conservative beliefs in masculinity, have been blasting Williams ever since he signed an NIL deal with nail polish brand Sally Hansen, as he likes to wear black nail polish, even during games. This did not stop him from leading the Crimson Tide with 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns last season, with him being particularly dominant against Georgia, as many fans have noted.

Ryan Williams Possibly Missing Next Game Due to Concussion Protocols
During that 31-17 loss to Florida State last Saturday, Ryan Williams slammed his head into the ground after a dropped pass. He was still wearing his helmet as this happened, but head coach Kalen DeBoer is not taking any risks and has placed him on concussion protocol. This means that he may miss the Week 2 game against Louisiana Monroe on Saturday.
DeBoer noted that the running back is considered “day to day” after the incident and admitted that Williams will be having “limited opportunities” to play in that Louisiana Monroe game on Saturday. However, he added that this will be a prime opportunity for somebody else to possibly take the spotlight in that game.
