When Nick Saban left Tuscaloosa, fans were worried about their football program. However, since Kalen DeBoer took over, the Alabama Crimson Tide has been incredible when it comes to recruiting. The program has brought in 19 four- and five-star freshmen, along with several transfers for the upcoming season.
Alabama is looking to build on this in the 2026 class as well, with one of its top targets being four-star safety recruit Kaiden Hall.

Alabama Secures Visit From Kaiden Hall
Hall, ranked No. 6 at his position by On3, is shortlisting his college options this week and has announced his official visits for the summer. He’ll be going to Penn State, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Alabama — all in about the span of 30 days, with the Tuscaloosa visit scheduled for June 13.

Alabama is among the leading programs to get his pledge, but there is stiff competition, especially from Florida and Oklahoma.
According to On3, Florida has a 34.7% chance to get his commitment, followed by Alabama at 27.1%. Florida State holds a 14.6% probability.
Originally unrated, Hall became a four-star prospect after showing promise on both offense and defense. His high school career saw him make 71 solo tackles with 33 assists through 18 games. He also added 161 rushing yards on 28 carries for two touchdowns. On the receiving end, he accumulated 494 yards on 31 receptions and two TDs.
The Crimson Tide offered him a scholarship in March 2024, and since then, Alabama, along with Florida and Georgia, have pushed hard for him. Hall has already visited Alabama’s campus for its Junior Day event this spring, and there’s a chance he could visit again before his final official visit.
For Hall, the development of players and the future of the programs are important. Alabama had a tough campaign last season. However, DeBoer and his staff might have an edge over Florida and Florida State when considering early playing time and developing Hall.

In recent years, Alabama has sent 25 players to the NFL Draft, which, when compared to Florida and Florida State, amounts to fewer than 25 combined.
When it comes to playing time, Malachi Moore is going to the NFL and Keon Sabb is expected to leave after 2025, Hall could start right away. Zavier Mincey, who is switching from cornerback to safety, and Bray Hubbard, who might be a backup, will compete. Ivan Taylor, a four-star safety, is also in the mix, but Hall could sneak in plenty of time.
