Colorado defensive back Ebenezer Bouzi has entered the transfer portal, and fans are wasting no time sharing their hilarious reactions to the news. What fans expected the least was seeing one of Colorado football’s promising young players from last year’s recruiting class enter the transfer portal on Tuesday.
Ben Bouzi is one of the “Florida Pipeline” prospects recruited by Deion Sanders, and he will be heading elsewhere next season.

After Getting Torched in ‘Well Off’ Vids, Colorado DB Ebenezer Bouzi Hits the Portal
Ben Bouzi, a 175-pound defensive back from Naples High School, made one appearance on special teams for the Buffaloes last season. Bouzi appears frequently in videos from WellOffForever. While some fans will miss his words of wisdom, plenty of comments on the Twitter announcement offered wild takes.
After the tweet shared by @NoSkoZone on X, it met with a lot of funny and wild reactions from the fans.
“Not even in the two deep or even three deep, lol. Why is this even news?”—One Fan Said.
Some fans believe the DB is entering the portal only to end up as a backup at another Division I program. Others think he was pushed out to make room for another defensive back. There is speculation that he might not have been on scholarship. Either way, it’s business.
“He was gettin’ cooked in vids everyday… what does he expect to do somewhere else??” another fan mentioned.
One fan took a different tone and reflected on the importance of hard work, noting that wherever a player ends up, the grind continues because nothing worthwhile comes easily.
Still, there are fans who believe Bouzi made the right decision.
Coach Prime Saw It Coming
While the announcement caught many fans off guard and left others wondering why it was even news, Coach Deion Sanders saw it coming. After Saturday’s spring game, Sanders pointed out that the defense needs to improve its pass coverage.
He also hinted that defensive backs would be entering the portal. Sanders had referred to Ben Bouzi as the “total package” when the DB committed to Colorado.
