Okot’s path to prominence began overseas in Kenya before she moved to the junior college level. Eventually, she made an immediate impact with the Bulldogs. During the 2024–25 season, she started every game for Mississippi State and averaged 11.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per contest.
Her dominance on the boards was a defining trait. She recorded double-digit rebounds in 17 of the team’s 34 games.
The game against Vanderbilt was certainly the moment of the whole season: 21 points and 23 rebounds in one game. Also, in a game against Maryland-Eastern Shore, Okot presented her offensive skills by recording a career-best 26 points with 13-of-16 shooting.
She led the SEC in field goal percentage, shooting 64.9%, and achieved 12 double-doubles throughout the season.

Besides, she was able to send it back into a total of 38 shots during the campaign on the defense side. Even in the NCAA Tournament spotlight, Okot remained productive, notching 14 points and 13 rebounds against California.
