Who’s In: Key Transfer Additions for the Oregon Ducks

    Mia Jacobs – Fresno State

The most recent commitment comes from Mia Jacobs, a 6-foot-2 forward who had a breakout season at Fresno State. She averaged 18.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game, starting all 34 games.

Jacobs brings offensive firepower and consistency, shooting 40.8% from the field, 38% from three, and 85% from the free-throw line. She enters Oregon with one year of eligibility left and will be a major contributor immediately.

    Avary Cain – UCLA

Former UCLA guard Avary Cain was the first player to commit to Oregon through the portal this offseason. Cain saw limited minutes last season due to UCLA’s deep roster but brings solid potential to the Ducks’ backcourt. As an incoming sophomore, she’ll look to take on a bigger role and contribute defensively and as a playmaker.

    Astera Tuhina – Washington State

Astera Tuhina, a senior guard from Washington State, adds experience and versatility to Oregon’s lineup. Last season, she averaged nearly eight points per game while logging a career-high in minutes. Tuhina’s veteran presence and strong court vision will be valuable assets in the upcoming season.

    Raegan Beers – Oregon State

One of the biggest steals of the transfer window is Raegan Beers, who crossed rivalry lines from Oregon State. A dominant sophomore forward, Beers averaged 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while leading the Pac-12 in field goal percentage (66.4%). Her addition gives the Ducks a powerful inside presence alongside Jacobs.

Who’s Out: Oregon Transfer Portal Departures

    Kayla Cooper

Kayla Cooper entered the transfer portal following the spring window. While she played a supporting role last season, her departure opens up opportunities for incoming talent to step in and contribute.

    Kelbie Washington

Kelbie Washington also opted to enter the portal, becoming the second Duck to leave this offseason. Though her exit impacts the team’s guard depth slightly, Oregon’s recent additions help fill that gap effectively.

The Ducks now have 15 scholarship players for the 2025-26 season, with a blend of experienced transfers and returning talent. If no further players depart, this will mark the first offseason since 2019-20 where Oregon hasn’t lost at least three players to the portal, a sign of growth and stability for the program.

With a revamped roster and strong additions, Oregon is poised for a competitive run in the Big Ten.
