Top Five Transfer Portal Landing Spots For Baye Fall

    USC Trojans

After a disappointing season, the Trojans and Fall’s former head coach at Arkansas, Eric Musselman, will be looking to refuel. USC saw the departure of forwards Matt Knowling and Harrison Hornery to eligibility and Kevin Patton Jr. and Jalen Shelley to the portal.

If Fall is willing to compete for the starting role with newly committed Youngstown big man Gabe Dynes, he could find a significant spot for himself on a Big Ten roster.

    Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Fall made a visit to Rutgers in his initial recruiting cycle, but opted against signing onto Steve Pikiell’s team. The Scarlet Knights, who lost top center Lathan Sommerville to Washington in the portal and backup Zach Martini to eligibility, currently only have one big man — Nigerian-born junior Emmanuel Ogbole, who averaged just 8.1 minutes per game — on the roster.

Ball could find immediate playing time.

    Auburn Tigers

Head coach Bruce Pearl’s team also made a run at fallout of high school but was unable to secure a commitment from the big man despite an official visit. With The Sporting News Player of the Year Johni Broome and backup center Dylan Cardwell out of eligibility and no centers in the transfer portal yet, the reigning SEC champ could be in the market for Fall.

    Georgetown Hoyas

While Patrick Ewing was at the head of the table while the Hoyas recruited Fall, Ed Cooley’s team is in dire need of a big man. With top center Drew Fielder headed to Boise State and neither freshman Julius Halaifonua and the redshirted Seal Diouf making an impact last year, a trip to the nation’s capital could be in store for Fall.

    UCLA Bruins

While forward Tyler Biodeau is the star of this Bruins team, forwards William Kyle and Devin Williams and center Aday Mara hit the portal, leaving the frontcourt relatively empty, with only Biodeau. F

all, who was recruited by the Bruins out of high school, could find a spot in the lineup relatively early, and make his impact felt immediately.
