Cam Ward Signs Massive Deal with Under Armour
Ahead of his NFL debut and the 2025 NFL Draft, Ward has signed an apparel deal with Under Armour, officially inking his contract as he transitions to the pro level.
Under Armour has a history of backing top-tier quarterback talent, previously sponsoring former No. 1 pick and NFL MVP Cam Newton entering his rookie season.
At the time, Newton reportedly secured the highest-paid rookie sponsorship in league history—surpassing Reggie Bush’s $1 million-per-year deal with Adidas from 2006.
Now, Under Armour is investing heavily again, locking in a line of high-profile draft prospects. Golden and Burden III are two of the most hyped receivers in this year’s class, while Emmanwori is among the top-ranked defensive players available.
Ward appears poised to be selected No. 1 overall on April 24, the night the draft gets underway.
What is Cam Ward’s Sponsorship Net Worth?
According to most reports, Ward earned just over $2 million in NIL sponsorships during his college career, making him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in NCAA football.
This included a previous deal with Adidas, which Ward proudly showcased on his Instagram during his time at Miami.
But ahead of the draft, Ward has shown exactly why Under Armour is banking on him—and why he’s confident in becoming the first player off the board.
“OK, you’re either going to draft me or you’re not,” Ward told The Associated Press. “If you don’t draft me, that’s your fault. You’ve got to remember you’re the same team that’s got to play me for the rest of my career, and I’ll remember that.”
