Oregon Mock Draft Round Up: Where Will Derrick Harmon, Dillon Gabriel Land?

The Oregon Ducks have 14 players in the 2025 NFL Draft, with 11 of them projected to be drafted. The Ducks were loaded with talent in 2024, and many of their players will make an immediate impact in the NFL.

Read on to find out where each Duck is projected to be drafted in both CBS Sports and Pro Football Network’s 7-round mock drafts and what the consensus is on every Oregon prospect.

DT Derrick Harmon Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 1, Pick 19 (Pittsburgh Steelers via trade)
      • PFN: Round 1, Pick 23 (Green Bay Packers)

Aside from Mason Graham, Derrick Harmon is considered the best defensive tackle in this draft class. The consensus of him going mid- to late first round feels fair, and I think that’s exactly where we’ll see him fall on draft night.

OT Josh Conerly Jr. Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 1, Pick 22 (Miami Dolphins via trade)
      • PFN: Round 1, Pick 31 (Kansas City Chiefs)

Josh Conerly is one of the best offensive linemen in this class, and it would be a shock if he didn’t go on day one. As you can see, the consensus reflects that, and I think he’ll be taken at some point in the 20s.

DE Jordan Burch Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 3, Pick 71 (New Orleans Saints)
      • PFN: Round 2, Pick 62 (Buffalo Bills)

Jordan Burch was the best pass rusher on Oregon’s roster last season and should be taken at some point on day two. Burch’s range is pretty wide, but I think we’ll see him taken late round two or early round 3, as the consensus shows.

WR Tez Johnson Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 3, Pick 72 (Chicago Bears)
      • PFN: Round 3, Pick 101 (Los Angeles Rams)

While Tez Johnson’s frame has some major question marks, the raw receiving talent is there. If Johnson weighed about 15 more pounds, I think he’d be at least a second-rounder, but due to his frame, I think a late third-round pick is more likely.

TE Terrance Ferguson Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 3, Pick 84 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
      • PFN: Round 3, Pick 90 (Los Angeles Rams)

Terrance Ferguson is one of my favorite tight-end prospects in the 2025 class. He moves fluidly for his frame and can stay in and be a consistent run blocker for any offense. His athleticism leaves some to be desired, which is why he’s listed in the third round for both of these mocks, and I think that’s where he’ll fall.

LB Jeffrey Bassa Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 4, Pick 129 (Baltimore Ravens)
      • PFN: Round 4, Pick 129 (Baltimore Ravens)

It’s not too often that we get an exact overlap from two seven-round mock drafts after the first two rounds, but here, both CBS and PFN have Bassa going to the Ravens at 129. I think we will see Bassa taken early on day three, and I also love the fit of the Ravens.

DT Jamaree Caldwell Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 6, Pick 187 (Minnesota Vikings)
      • PFN: Round 4, Pick 119 (Cincinnati Bengals)

As you can see, Caldwell’s range is pretty wide between the two mock drafts. I lean more towards CBS Sports here, as I think Caldwell is about a sixth-round talent. We’ll see what happens over draft weekend, but I’d be surprised if he wasn’t taken at some point on day three.

QB Dillon Gabriel Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 6, Pick 184 (New Orleans Saints)
      • PFN: Round 6, Pick 190 (New Orleans Saints)

Dillon Gabriel was a Heisman finalist in 2024 and was clearly one of the best quarterbacks in the country. However, there are some questions about Gabriel as a prospect and whether his game will translate to the next level. As both these mock drafts suggest, I think he’ll be picked at some point in the sixth round.

RB Jordan James Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 6, Pick 184 (Dallas Cowboys)
      • PFN: Round 7, Pick 248 (New Orleans Saints)

I wouldn’t say that Jordan James is a guy who can be an every-down starter in the NFL, but I think he could fit well in a running back by-committee scheme. I have rated higher than a seventh-round talent, but due to positional value, I think the seventh is a fair assumption.

OT Ajani Cornelius Mock Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Round 7, Pick 233 (Chicago Bears)
      • PFN: Round 6, Pick 185 (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Ajani Cornelius is a solid fifth-round talent, and I would not be surprised if he snuck into even the fourth. However, the consensus of the mocks is that he’ll go a little later than that. He’ll be a good backup on the offensive line in the NFL and is someone who I think can develop into a starter.

    CB Jubbar Muhammad Draft Projections

    • Mock Draft Consensus
      • CBS Sports: Undrafted.
      • PFN: Round 7, Pick 247 (New Orleans Saints)

Jubbar Muhammed likely won’t ever be a high-level starter in the NFL, but he has some developable traits, and I think he could be a solid special teamer for years to come.

I think the seventh round is fair for him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went undrafted.
