    6’8″ New York PF Moussa Kamissoko Receives Offers From Syracuse and Villanova

    New York prospect Moussa Kamissoko is making waves, receiving early offers from Syracuse and Villanova, Ball is Life reported Thursday. The 6’8” forward is part of the Class of 2027 and has already received offers from Louisville, Rhode Island, Fordham, Youngstown State, Sacred Heart, NJIT, and Marist.

    Kamissoko is considered the No. 13 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, per 247 Sports. He is the No. 7 overall small forward and the top overall recruit in the state of New York.

    New York’s Top Prospect Moussa Kamissoko Gets Offers From Syracuse, Villanova, Louisville

    Kamissoko transferred to Long Island Lutheran High School this year after playing his freshman season at Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, New York.

    With Kamissoko, the Crusaders finished No. 2 in the state of New York, per MaxPreps’ rankings, with a 21-7 overall record. Their season included a 68-65 win over IMG Academy in February. Their season ended with an 81-80 overtime loss to California’s No. 2 overall team, Prolific Prep.

    Syracuse is currently on a hot recruiting streak. They are cashing in on their history with Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony and landing his son, Kiyan Anthony, the 36th-ranked prospect nationally in 2025.

    They also signed Sadiq White Jr., the country’s No. 27 recruit, to complete their No. 10 ranked 2025 recruiting class. The Orange currently has no commits for 2026 or 2027.

    Villanova, with new head coach Kevin Willard at the helm, currently has no recruits signed for the 2025, 2026, or 2027 classes. Instead, it is opting to look to the transfer portal.

    The Wildcats had secured the commitment of four-star Florida forward Dante Allen, the No. 42 recruit in the country for 2025, but he decommitted in late March.

    Allen previously went on an official visit to Georgia and could now shift his sights to the Bulldogs.
