    Caroline Ducharme’s Athletic Roots: Meet Her Talented Family

    UConn guard Caroline Ducharme, standing at 6’2″, showcases standout abilities in her basketball performance. The Massachusetts native continues a family tradition of sports through her siblings Ashley and Reid, who also competed at the college level.

    The eldest Ducharme sibling, Ashley, played Division I basketball at Brown University. While playing for the Brown Bears, she received Academic All-Ivy recognition, highlighting her success in both academics and varsity athletics. Caroline developed her passion for basketball by observing her sister Ashley’s AAU practices, which she frequently attended.

    Reid Ducharme, Caroline’s younger brother, is a 6’7″ guard whose collegiate basketball journey began at Xavier during the 2023-24 season. Seeking a larger role, he transferred to Siena College for his sophomore year. A former four-star recruit, Reid frequently trained with Caroline, their sessions reflecting their mutual drive and competitive spirit.

    The Ducharme family’s athletic roots stretch even deeper. Their father, Todd, was a two-sport athlete in football and track at Williams College, and their mother, Chrissy, played basketball at the same institution.
