‘Perfect Timing’ – Saints RB Alvin Kamara’s Visit Fuels Shedeur Sanders Draft Theories

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara adds fuel to Saints Shedeur Sanders’ links after visiting the Colorado campus today.

This may potentially come as a surprise to some, as recent links between the Saints and the Buffaloes’ quarterbacks have staggered after head coach Kellen Moore skipped Colorado’s Pro Day.

Saints Fans React to Alvin Kamara Kamara Sighting

The former Tennessee Volunteers running back was spotted in Colorado today, visiting practice, as posted by Colorado Offensive Analyst Michael Pollock.

Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders also shared a photo of himself and the running back together at training to his Instagram story.

Some New Orleans fans took the opportunity to get ahead of themselves, with recent rumors linking the Buffaloes’ quarterback to the franchise.

“If anything else happens other than Shedeur to the Saints, we boycotting the DOME.” One fan wrote in response to the video.

Other responses shared the same sentiment, including “Sanders to Saints Confirmed, AK knows how to let us know who our next QB will be,” and more replies echoing the same response.

Insider Names Saints As Shedeur Sanders’ Lone Round 1 Pick

On a recent podcast episode, NFL insider Adam Schefter explained why he thinks the Saints might be the only possible destination for Shedeur Sanders ahead of the draft.

“The only landing spot in the Top 10 that you can see right now is the New Orleans Saints at number nine,” Schefter continues.

“Deion Sanders, on Friday after the Colorado NFL showcase, pointed to the Buffs colors and said, ‘I don’t mind those colors in the NFL.’ Black and Gold, now that would be the Saints.” Schefler explained his reasoning.

Meanwhile, a recent College Football Network Mock Draft disagrees with Schefter, suggesting that the New York Giants should be in for the Quarterbacks despite signing Russell Wilson.

“New York needs to walk away from this draft with a quarterback, and if the Giants are anywhere near this spot come next year, major changes will be coming to the coaching staff and front office,” CFN writer Logan Lazarczyk wrote in his three-round mock draft.

“New York will draft Sanders at this spot and allow him to sit until Wilson and/or Winston inevitably flame out.”

No matter if Sanders makes it to the Saints or not, Alvin Kamara’s visit must suggest that Head Coach Kellen Moore has some level of interest in the quarterback ahead of the NFL Draft later this month.
