NFL Analysts Rich Eisen and Chris Brockman have compared Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders to a former No. 1 pick in the draft. Sanders is currently in a battle with both Cam Ward and Jaxon Dart in this year’s draft, with recent reports indicating the Tennesee Titans have dropped significant interest in the QB after canceling his private workout.

Analysts Discuss NFL Combine Importance
With the Buffaloes’ QB and Cam Ward both refusing to throw at this year’s NFL Combine, Eisen and Brockman drew some comparisons to the class of 2023.
In the buildup to that year’s NFL Draft, Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, who is widely regarded as the best quarterback from that draft, threw at the NFL Combine, while Bryce Young, who ended up as the Number 1 Pick but struggled in his rookie season, refused to take part in the combine.
“Whoever throws at the Combine has a leg up. CJ Stroud, he threw at the combine, and Bryce Young didn’t.” Eisen claimed on his show this week that teams will be looking to learn from the mistakes of previous years.
Despite not taking part in the Combine this year, the Tennessee Titans, according to all reports, are still planning on choosing the Miami Quarterback with their number one pick, but Shedeur’s refusal to partake in the combine could lead to a decrease in draft stock.
In an earlier episode of the Rich Eisen show, lead NFL Draft Analysis for PFF, Trevor Sikkema revealed that there was a chance that Ole Miss’s Jaxon Dart could go before Shedeur Sanders after his combine performance, but he further iterated that he still thinks it’s unlikely.
“I don’t think it’s impossible, I don’t think it’s likely, but you do have a chance for this one to be right,” Sikkema answered when asked what he thought.
Sanders’s Draft Stock Is Plummeting
Due to recent reports by ESPN’s Josina Andersons, the Colorado Quarterback’s draft stock is currently plummeting due to a report by an unnamed team drafting in the first seven picks of this year’s draft.

“I am disappointed to hear that a quarterback’s coach from a team drafting in the top 7 referred to Shedeur Sanders as coming off “brash’ and ‘arrogant’ in his team interview and making his assessment known to a number of people,” Andersons wrote, revealing her disapproval of the take.
Despite this recent reports having an effect on Shedeur’s Draft Stock, conflicting reports have also come out claiming that the Cleveland Browns are still high on the Quarterback, meaning that at this current moment, we still have no idea what’s going to happen.
