Sam Leavitt Donates to Phoenix Children’s Hospital

This off-season, after his team won the Big 12 and made it to the College Football Playoff, Leavitt is helping the city of Phoenix make great strides.

According to insider Nick King, Leavitt is sending $6,500 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

This is 10% of the sales that Leavitt made via his deal with the restaurant Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers.

There is nothing better than seeing young athletes make an impact beyond the field or court.

The more people can find a way to impact the lives of others, the better life will be for many.

That seems to be a very clear goal for Leavitt.

Sam Leavitt Looks to Have a Strong 2025 Season

The 20-year-old is coming off a great season as he helped lead his team to new heights under head coach Kenny Dillingham.

He earned the Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year Award after throwing for 2,885 yards and 24 touchdowns, along with rushing for 443 yards and five touchdowns.

His connection with All-American running back Cam Skattebo made them arguably the best quarterback-running back duo in the country. But now, Skattebo is headed to the NFL, which means that Leavitt is going to have to do some more heavy lifting this year.

Additionally, the team is likely to have a tough schedule this year.

On their 2025 schedule sits the Iowa State Cyclones, Colorado Buffaloes, Utah Utes, and Mississippi State.

Plenty of the teams could be either really dangerous or just the opposite.

But the reality is that with Leavitt playing the way he has throughout his career, this team can return to the College Football Playoff.

They just need to improve at running back without Skattebo. But win or lose, Leavitt is one of the best human beings playing college football.
