Deion Sanders Releases New Shedeur Sanders NFL List After Earlier Restrictions

As the 2025 NFL Draft draws closer and closer, the playing field is starting to be situated. For Shedeur Sanders, his father, legendary football player and new college football coach, Deion Sanders released his new NFL list after earlier restrictions regarding teams who may draft his son.

Shedeur is one of the best college football quarterbacks in the draft, second to only Cam Ward. Sanders is projected to be the second quarterback taken in the draft and is for sure a Top 5 pick. On Thursday, Deion named teams he’d like to see his son go to after earlier restrictions were placed.

Deion Sanders Releases New Shedeur Sanders NFL List After Earlier Restrictions

Earlier this week, Deion appeared on “The Skip Bayless Show” and discussed how his son has been doing in preparation for his draft. Deion also spoke on Shedeur’s visits and where his heart lies.

“Shedeur has told me, he’s talked to me intently about all the visits he’s had with teams,” Deion said in “The Skip Bayless Show,” published on March 26. “So I know where his heart is. I know where he wants to go.”

Deion went on to name the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and New Orleans Saints.

“If it’s any of those teams that are seeking a quarterback, I’m happy with it, man,” Deion said, “because I know what he’s going to do to the organization. I know what he’s going to do.”

The Giants have signed Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson recently, so drafting a quarterback may not be in the cards for them. The Titans have the first overall pick and are favorites to land the Miami quarterback, Ward.

The Browns who are picking at No. 2 overall will realistically have first dibs on Shedeur, should they choose to take him. The Las Vegas Raiders pick at No. 6 and the New Orleans Saints pick at No. 9, so it’s very doubtful that Shedeur will last that long but if possible, I’m sure New Orleans would be more than interested in him.

The Saints have committed to Derek Carr remaining the team’s starting quarterback. However, draft experts like Mel Kiper Jr. have pegged New Orleans to draft the third-best quarterback in the draft, Jaxson Dart.

While it remains to be seen where Shedeur makes a home for himself, one can assume that he will certainly be in the top three picks of the draft. Now, Deion has given more clarity on the teams he would allow to draft his son.
