Coming from a prestigious basketball lineage, Wagner is the son of former NBA player Dajuan Wagner and the grandson of professional player Milt Wagner.
His high school career was nothing short of remarkable. As a standout player at Camden High School in New Jersey, Wagner was recognized as one of the top prospects in the class of 2023. He was one of three Camden players invited to the USA Basketball July minicamp in Colorado Springs, an honor that further cemented his reputation as a top-tier recruit.
After receiving offers from several top programs, Wagner made headlines when he declined an offer from Louisville and committed to playing for the University of Kentucky in November 2022.
