One of the most intriguing names in the college basketball transfer portal is Youngstown State center Gabriel Dynes.
The 7’3″ big man could have plenty of suitors as he has his eyes set on joining a contending college basketball team.

Ohio State Buckeyes
Why not go right down the road to Columbus? The Ohio State Buckeyes have not been consistently great since the height of the Thad Matta days.
Head coach Jake Diebler could use a massive presence in the paint to help bring the Buckeyes back to contention — Dynes fits the bill.
Indiana Hoosiers
After the hiring of new head coach Darian DeVries, the Hoosiers will be looking to bring in some more talent.
Now, the Hoosiers did have multiple players who stood at 7’0″ or taller, but both Oumar Ballo and Dallas James were seniors this year. Adding Dynes, a sophomore, could be the move for DeVries.
Creighton Blue Jays
While center Ryan Kalkbrenner has been a legendary player for Greg McDermott, the four-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year is a senior. The Bluejays will need another force on the interior, and Dynes could be just that.
Kansas Jayhawks
All-American center Hunter Dickinson will be moving on from Kansas after the NCAA Tournament finishes up. Head coach Bill Self is a great recruiter and knows how to develop great talent.
Dynes could immediately join a nationally contending team, with the opportunity to improve his game.
Iowa Hawkeyes
The Hawkeyes will be entering a new era after the dismissal of longtime head coach Fran McCaffery.
Whomever the school hires, that coach will need to make the paint a top priority, as rebounding and getting easy buckets are keys to success in college basketball.
