    No. 10 Kansas State vs No. 15 Arizona State Injury Report: Latest on Adam Miller, Jayden Quaintance and More

    The No. 10 Kansas State Wildcats (15-16, 9-11) face off against the No. 15 Arizona State Sun Devils (13-18, 4-16) in the first round of the Big 12 Championship tonight at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

    The winner will face the No. 7 Baylor Bears (18-13, 10-10) Wednesday, March 12 for a spot in the quarterfinal against the AP No. 9 and Big 12 No. 2 Texas Tech Red Raiders (24-7, 15-5). As it stands, several Arizona State players are on the injury report for tonight.

    Kansas State’s injury report is clean.

    For the Sun Devils, things are a little more complex, with junior guard Ausin Nunez out for the season with a foot injury that led to surgery and two players questionable.

    Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley gave some more context on his weekly radio show. Hurley announced senior guard Adam Miller (hip) will be available tonight against the Wildcats. Freshman forward Jayden Quaintance will remain sidelined with a knee injury, according to ASU Hoops Central.

    Quaintance has been a big part of the Sun Devils’ rotation this year, earning Big 12 All-Freshman Team and All-Defensive Team honors. The forward is averaging 9.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.6 blocks per game.

    The return of Miller, who missed one game, is a welcome one. The senior is averaging 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
