Deion Sanders Found a Perfect Way To Motivate Shilo Sanders Into Running a Faster 40

Deion Sanders promised his son Shilo a luxury car if he ran a 4.4-second 40-yard sprint at Colorado Pro Day, encouraging him to improve his NFL draft prospects.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders made an intriguing bet with his son, Shilo Sanders. The safety declared for the next NFL draft alongside his quarterback brother, Shedeur Sanders.

While Shedeur is expected to be taken in the first round, several draft experts and analysts believe Shilo will go undrafted.

Deion Sanders Pushes Shilo With High-Stakes Speed Challenge at Pro Day

In an attempt to motivate his son Shilo Sanders toward NFL glory, Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has offered a lavish incentive: a brand-new car if Shilo runs a 4.4-second 40-yard sprint at the Colorado Pro Day.

On Saturday, Bleacher Report shared a new video on their Instagram handle. In the video, Shilo tells his dad that he will run the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds during Pro Day.

“This time, I’m running a 4.4,” Shilo said while lifting weights.

Deion Sanders did not waste a second to bet a brand-new car on the line.

“Let’s do it,” Coach Prime said. “You said 4.4? If you run a 4.4, I’ll buy you a new car.”

Shilo just achieved a personal best in the 40-yard dash, indicating his preparation for the professional stage. Despite criticism and the setback of missing the Combine, Shilo remains passionate, pulling inspiration from his dad’s history while seeking to forge his career in the NFL.

Shilo relished a solid two-season tenure with the Colorado Buffaloes. Despite concerns about his injuries, he finished strong last year. There is still much speculation regarding which NFL team will pick the Colorado safety in April.

Shilo is unlikely to be picked by the same team that selects his brother, given Shedeur’s anticipated first-round expertise. However, the safety’s primary goal is to raise his draft status to at least a Day 3 pick rather than going undrafted in April.

As Colorado’s Pro Day approaches, all eyes are on Shilo. Achieving the 4.4-second time would not only give him a new vehicle but would also increase his visibility to NFL scouts.
