    Big Ten Tournament Start Date, Schedule, and Ticket Info

    The Big Ten Tournament will feature 15 of the 18 teams in the conference, as seeds 16-18 in the end-of-season standings will not be invited.

    The rest will be put into a single-elimination bracket with seeds 10-15 playing in the first round, seeds 5-8 entering in the second round, and finally, seeds 1-4 will be inserted in the quarterfinal round.

    Ticket Information

    Tickets to the Big Ten Tournament are on sale now to the general public at Ticketmaster.com, with the ticket type being purchased in session form — Session one for the first round, Session two for the first two games of the second round, Session three for the last two games of the second round, and so on.

    All seating will be reserved, and the cheapest tickets range from under $5 during the first round to $96 at the championship game.

    Students of the university playing in a session can purchase a ticket for $25 plus fees as part of the Big Ten’s student ticket program. The student section will be in the 200 levels, requiring all students to bring a valid student ID.
