Her teammate, Jada Gyamfi, joined other followers who adored the senior guard’s new look.
“This is why you looked different yesterday!!!!!” Gyamfi wrote.
Feuerbach is in her fifth year as an Iowa women’s basketball player. She joined the Hawkeyes after her freshman year at Iowa State. However, her time with the Hawkeyes was anything but smooth.
Feuerbach missed the entire 2022–23 season due to an ACL tear. Since then, she had struggled for playing time until recently, when she found a spot in the starting lineup. On Thursday, Feb. 27, Feuerbach spoke about a potential return for a sixth year with Iowa.
“I’m definitely taking in this season and just planning it by year. But just really taking it all in and just enjoying these last few weeks with this year’s team, and yeah, just enjoying that.”
Averaging 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 35.8% shooting per game, Feuerbach’s game was mainly impacted by her lack of playing time. But whenever she finds herself on the court, she delivers a trait that head coach Jan Jensen applauded.
“She wants to do whatever it takes for the team. If a mistake is made or a shot is missed, it kills her,” Jensen said after Iowa’s 76-69 upset win over USC in February. “It’s like, ‘Hey, that’s part of what we’re doing here.’ I hope that she continues to play freer and freer and understands how great she is and how valued she is.”
It was all about earning the minutes and contributing more on the court this season for Feuerbach.

In Iowa’s 79-66 win over Michigan State, Feuerbach posted six points, two rebounds, and four assists, joining the likes of Lucy Olsen, who posted 20 points, and Sydney Affolter, who scored 24 points on the scoresheet.
The Hawkeye senior is expected to be in action as they take on the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday.
