The only one-year starter on this list, LaNorris Sellers has a strong chance to end his career atop this list. He's the first true Heisman candidate the Gamecocks have ever had at QB and he's already etched his name in Gamecock lore with an epic comeback win over Clemson.

If the Gamecocks were better during the Muschamp era, Jake Bentley would be higher on the list. He was an excellent and underrated starter.

Your age likely determines your thoughts on Todd Ellis. The school's all-time leader in passing yards also threw the seventh-most interceptions in his career. He led some pretty good South Carolina teams, though.

From super backup to Clemson-killer to SEC passing leader, Dylan Thompson still ranks 10th in yardage despite starting just one season. The team was terrible, but he had the best single-season South Carolina passing year in 2014.

Steve Taneyhill is a Gamecock legend with long hair and epic wins over Clemson. He's second in school history in passing yards and first in touchdowns.

Fans went from hating Connor Shaw after a shaky debut to telling their kids about his greatness. Gritty, tough, smart, and talented, Shaw is second in career touchdowns and threw 24 TDs and just one interception in 2013 as a senior, leading the best South Carolina teams in schooll history.
