Xavier Lherisse is a 5’10”, 185-pound safety from Melbourne, Florida. He is a four-star recruit and the No. 33 safety in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
On3.com ranks him as the No. 27 safety in the 2026 class and the No. 46 recruit in Florida.

Lherisse’s commitment to Oregon followed a highly competitive recruitment process that included offers from prestigious schools including Miami, Georgia, Clemson, and Nebraska. His decision was influenced by Eugene’s distinct vibe.
Lherisse spoke with On3’s Steve Wiltfong last week about his experience with Oregon and Ducks coach Dan Lanning.
“Oregon is just different. I went out there for a game this past season, and they shot up to the top of my list,” Lherisse said. “They treat me like a priority,y and I love that. Coach Lanning and the whole staff have developed relationships with my family, which I appreciate.”
Oregon’s 2026 Recruiting Class Leaps to the #1 Spot
According to On3, the Oregon Ducks now boast the nation’s top recruiting class for 2026. They’ve received ten commitments: two from five stars, six from four stars, and two from three stars. The highest-rated commit thus far is Kendre Harrison, a five-star tight end.
