Each year, there is a standout performer at the NFL Combine. Someone whose exceptional testing numbers catch everyone off guard, which elevates their draft stock significantly.
Who might that surprise player be in 2025? Let’s explore the potential sleepers of the 2025 NFL Combine who could astonish everyone in Indianapolis.

2025 NFL Combine Sleepers
Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas
Jaydon Blue isn’t discussed enough in this deep running back class. However, he is likely to gain national attention if he performs as expected at the 2025 NFL Combine. The Texas running back showcased his blazing speed and agile movements in 2024, accumulating 1,098 yards and 14 touchdowns from scrimmage.
A standout track athlete at Klein Cain High School, Blue excelled in the 100 and 200-meter sprints, clocking a 10.70-second 100-meter dash in 2021.
He is considered a true sleeper in this draft class and is quietly confident that his remarkable speed and athleticism will impress at the 2025 Combine.
Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech
A former member of Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List, Bhayshul Tuten has the potential to impress at the 2025 NFL Combine with his outstanding testing numbers. He has already clocked an impressive 4.32-second 40-yard dash, which would set a record for the fastest time by a running back.

Additionally, he boasts a remarkable 40-inch vertical jump, placing him in the 94th percentile. If Tuten performs as expected in Indianapolis, he could distinguish himself in a highly competitive running back class.
Charles Grant, OL, Williams & Mary
A small school prospect who is a likely Day 2 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, Charles Grant is extraordinarily agile and athletic. At 6’4” and 300 pounds, the Wiliam and Mary product has allowed just two sacks on 2,277 career snaps and has played 41 games at left tackle.
The Tribe left tackle has elite athleticism for the position, and his fluid movement should show up in a blazing 40-yard dash for his position. His 35 5/8-inch arms should allow Grant to test exceptionally well due to his intense burst and quickness.
While Grant will continue to need to be developed at the next level, a big Combine performance will put him in contention for a second-round selection.
Arian Smith, WR, Georgia
Arian Smith’s 40-yard dash is highly anticipated. The Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver was a standout high school track star and participated in track events in college before focusing solely on football in 2023.
At Georgia, Smith qualified for the SEC Championship in the 100-meter dash, and his incredible speed earned him a gold medal in the 4×100-meter relay at the 2019 Under-20 Pan American Athletics Championships.
This speed is expected to help him run one of the fastest 40-yard dashes at the 2025 NFL Combine. Although Smith has struggled with drops throughout his career and still needs to refine his skills, a strong performance at the Combine could enhance his chances of being drafted.
Jimmy Horn Jr., WR, Colorado
Colorado prospects have recently garnered a lot of attention, but one player who deserves more recognition is wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr.
After spending his first two seasons with the South Florida Bulls, Horn transferred to Colorado in 2023 and has since accumulated 1,008 yards and seven touchdowns under coach Deion Sanders.

A former high school track star, Horn won four medals at the 2021 Florida Class 8A State Track and Field Championships. He was a member of the state champion 4×100 meter relay team, finished fourth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.81 seconds, and also won the long jump competition.
Given his impressive athletic background, Horn will likely achieve outstanding testing numbers at the 2025 NFL Combine, where he aims to boost his draft stock.
