Wide receiver Omarion Miller was just beginning to become a cornerstone athlete for Colorado after working his way up from being the fifth-string receiver when he suffered a lower leg injury in October that sidelined him for the rest of the 2024 season.

Fans Hyped With Omarion Miller Pushing Limits After Practice
With Heisman Trophy winner and Colorado’s leading receiver Travis Hunter preparing for the NFL Draft, Miller might be one of the players considered for the 2025 starting lineup.
After undergoing surgery for the injury he sustained on a hip-drop tackle, the wide receiver has been back at the team’s practice facility in Boulder, working on drills and finding his rhythm.
In a video filmed by Deion Sanders Jr., Miller was seen practicing.
“Right now, we’re doing a little sand pit workout,” Miller said between sets. “Trying to get all my mobility and quickness back, so doing all types of jumping. Quick stuff on my feet. Just trynna get my explosiveness back. Trying to get my jump point up there.”

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is rooting for him to succeed.
“I mean our message to him is to get yourself together when it’s time to rehabilitate yourself and get in the right frame of mind, so you can come out bigger, stronger, faster and better. … I’m proud of him,” Sanders said in November after Miller’s surgery.
“Proud of him for just staying focused, knowing he wasn’t a starter. But had the ability to start. But when he came in he gave you everything he had. Proud of him,” Sanders continued.
