Hanna and Haley Cavinder Debut New Jersey as Miami Fall to Notre Dame

The Instagram video, which was posted on Saturday, Feb. 22, showed the twins rocking crop-top sweatshirts over baggy trousers and sneakers.

“Besties,” the Cavinder twins captioned the video.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder signed a three-year NIL deal with Under Armour in July 2024.

The deal includes promoting footwears and apparel for the company which has an estimated net worth of $3.1 billion, according to macrotrends. Hanna and Haley will also provide input on the brand’s future products.

The Cavinders debuted the new Miami women’s basketball jersey, which made waves during the Hurricanes’ blowout 82-42 loss to top-ranked Notre Dame on Thursday night.

The Cavinder twins shared a video of themselves rocking the new PE ahead of the game on their joint Instagram account.

“New jerseys unlocked 4 game day🌟⭐️💛,” they captioned the video.

Miami lost its fifth game in a row to a ranked team on that day, which means they slipped to 13-13 and 3-12 in the conference and are clinging to the final spot in the ACC Tournament.

Haley Cavinder, who has been exceptional for the Canes in previous games, was struggling against the Fighting Irish, finishing with only eight points, five rebounds, and three assists in 38 minutes of play.

Hanna was not better off, managing to record six points, four rebounds, and one assist in 32 minutes of play.

Senior forward Cameron Williams the only Hurricane who reached double figures, after putting up a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

“They were really physical with Haley and made it tough for her coming off screens early,” Miami head coach Tricia Cullop said. “But we did have some open shots we didn’t hit. It was a combination of hurrying a little bit, trying to force things instead of taking our time, taking a deep breath, and taking an easy shot.”

The canes have three games to play in regular season as they continue to fight for a spot in the tournament in March.
