    How Much Is Flau’jae Johnson’s NIL Worth?

    Johnson plays as a junior guard for the Tigers in the 2024-25 season. Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, she had an outstanding sophomore year, averaging 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.

    These performances earned her a spot on the All-SEC second team. She also recorded nine games with 20 or more points. This also includes key performances during the NCAA Tournament, where she led LSU in scoring with 20.5 points per game and earned a place on the Albany 2 All-Region Team.

    Johnson’s NIL valuation has soared over the years, reaching $1.5 million as of January 2025, according to On3.

    According to On3, Johnson holds the highest NIL valuation in women’s basketball at $1.2 million. She claims her deals amount to approximately $4.5 million. She has partnered with major brands like Apple Cash, Bazooka, and JBL Audio.

    Johnson, alongside LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, appeared in “The Money Game,” further solidifying her presence in the NIL market.

    “While I stay actively involved in understanding this value, I heavily rely on my team of advisors, including my representation, to negotiate deals that reflect my worth accurately. They use a combination of market trends, my performance metrics, and personal brand impact to evaluate opportunities,” Johnson said in a conversation with ON3.

    As a freshman, Johnson played a crucial role in LSU’s 2022–23 national championship season. She started all 36 games and was named SEC Freshman of the Year after averaging 11.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. She finished the season with 20 double-digit scoring games and three double-doubles.

    Before joining LSU, Johnson was a standout at Sprayberry High School. She was ranked No. 26 overall and the No. 6 guard in the nation by ESPN. A four-star recruit, she became LSU’s first McDonald’s All-American and earned spots in the Naismith All-America Team and the Jordan Brand Classic.

    That’s where she won MVP honors with a 27-point performance. She set a school record with 1,615 career points and had her No. 4 jersey retired at the Iverson Classic. Her senior year saw her named Georgia Region 6-6A Player of the Year, highlighted by a 47-point game with 12 three-pointers.
