How To Watch March Madness Without YouTube TV

In a statement to its customers, YouTube TV said, “Paramount is an important partner for us, and as you can imagine, this is not the outcome that we want.”

Unfortunately for college basketball fans who subscribe to YouTube TV, this means that if you want to watch some of the biggest games of March Madness, including the national championship, you will no longer be able to watch it on YouTube TV.

This news came out of nowhere and surprised many fans who are now wondering how they are going to watch March Madness, so here is a guide on how to access CBS.

If you haven’t cut your cable cord yet and switched completely to streaming, then CBS will remain on cable TV, and you will have no problems accessing the channel come March.

The other way to access CBS during March Madness if they can’t agree with Paramount is to subscribe to Paramount’s streaming site, Paramount+.

Paramount likely wants to take its channels off of other streaming services to create more revenue directly for them rather than having to split it.

While this obviously harms the everyday sports fan like you and me, for the time being, subscribing to Paramount+ for March and April may be the best solution to watching March Madness.

While it’s looking more and more like Paramount and YouTube TV may not be able to agree, YouTube TV is urging its customers that they are still in talks with Paramount, saying, “We’re still in active conversations with Paramount and are hopeful we can come to an agreement to keep their content available on YouTube TV.”
