Appalachian State Mountaineers Depth Chart

The Appalachian State Mountaineers football team represents Appalachian State University and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). They are a proud member of the Sun Belt Conference. The Mountaineers play their home games at Kidd Brewer Stadium, affectionately known as "The Rock",located in Boone, North Carolina.
Appalachian State has an impressive track record, becoming the first Division I program to win three consecutive FCS national championships (2005-2007). The team's colors are black and gold, and their mascot, Yosef, is a beloved symbol of mountain spirit and determination.
The Mountaineers gained national recognition for their upset victory over fifth-ranked Michigan in 2007, which marked the first time an FCS team defeated a ranked FBS program. Since moving to the FBS in 2014, Appalachian State has continued its winning ways, securing multiple conference championships and bowl game victories.
