The pre-draft process and mock draft season go hand in hand like the word excitement does for how we at College Sports Network feel about March Madness or the start of the college football season. Sometimes, things just make sense.
And sometimes, these 2025 NFL mock drafts go against the grain. This is not one of those times, however, as we look at what we’d do with each pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.
1) Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Tennessee Titans
Don’t overthink this, Tennessee; Travis Hunter is a golden gem of a prospect and a guy you can game plan on both sides of the ball. Hunter is a game-changer no matter where he pencils in (it should be CB with play sheets at WR).
He’s a transformative talent who could elevate the Titans on both sides of the ball, and his versatility would spark immediate improvement across the field. At this stage, it’s a no-brainer move.
2) Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
Cleveland Browns
Cam Ward’s breakout 2024 season vaulted him into the conversation atop the quarterback rankings, showcasing pinpoint accuracy, elite anticipation, and notable game growth. His mastery of arm angles, pocket navigation, and creativity under pressure blended seamlessly with newfound composure, effectively silencing critics of his earlier turnover struggles while significantly improving his protection of the football.
With raw talent and that aforementioned steady progress, his potential appeared limitless as the season progressed.
3) Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
New York Giants
Sanders established himself as one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft with a breakout 2024 season that showcased his brilliance within a structured offense and his rare ability to thrive under relentless pressure.
His knack for escaping rushes, keeping his eyes downfield, and delivering pinpoint throws highlighted both his arm talent and composure, while his exceptional chemistry with receivers hints at even greater success once he transitions to the professional level.

4) Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
New England Patriots
Abdul Carter is downright terrifying for any opposing offense to gameplan against. His knack for hunting quarterbacks recalls a storied legacy, yet his upside feels more like that of a dominant pass-rusher than a traditional linebacker.
With elite athleticism and a versatile pass-rush arsenal, he has every tool needed to excel, and in the right scheme, Carter appears poised for early Pro Bowl honors.
5) Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Jacksonville Jaguars
Will Campbell might have a slightly shorter wingspan than some would prefer for a tackle, but his versatility means he can fill multiple roles on any offensive line. With a great base, strong anchoring, and fluid movement, his adaptability could easily propel him to Pro Bowl-level performance regardless of his position.
6) Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Las Vegas Raiders
The top pass catcher in this draft class flew under the radar due to his team’s struggles in 2024, yet Tetairoa McMillan played like a man among boys this season. Drawing easy comparisons to two all-time greats, he’s a no-brainer for any franchise in need of a boost in receiving talent.
7) Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
New York Jets
Mason Graham might not be the flashiest pick, but he offers a future All-Pro and likely Pro Bowler from his rookie season. With an unrelenting motor and a fiery mean streak, Graham stands out as one of the quickest defensive linemen off the snap, and his versatility lets him dominate both tackles and interior linemen with ease, making him a game-changer on the defensive front.
8) Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
Carolina Panthers
We fully expect Revel to post a strong pre-draft showing if he’s healthy enough to test, and even without formal evaluations, his skill set speaks volumes with elite lockdown cornerback abilities. His pre-draft process should be good enough to vault him into the top cornerback spot as it has in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Whether lined up outside or in the slot, he has the potential to emerge as a true CB1 from day one.
9) James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
New Orleans Saints
New Orleans has a golden opportunity in grabbing a talent like James Pearce Jr., whose untapped potential is set to bring fresh energy and catch opponents off guard. His elite pass-rushing abilities and versatility make him a rare defensive asset—exactly the kind of player who can elevate a defense to the next level.
10) Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Cleveland Browns (via Chicago Bears)
Will Johnson emerges as the clear CB2 in this group after Revel’s ascension is completed and after the Browns received a first-round pick from the Bears for Myles Garrett (in this hypothetical scenario). Johnson’s natural ability shines whether he’s playing with his back to the ball, reading plays, or navigating open space.
His fluid movement, seamless transitions, and instincts—combined with his dominance at the catch point—elevate his game to another level, proving him to be a true lockdown corner.
11) Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
San Francisco 49ers
Kelvin Banks Jr., one of the top pure tackle prospects in this class, is projected in our seven-round mock draft. Banks brings versatility to fortify either side of the offensive line, combining raw power to fend off bull rushers with the agility and refined technique to handle edge speed.
12) Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Dallas Cowboys
Ashton Jeanty emerged as arguably the best player in college football this season, nearly topping Barry Sanders’ unthinkable single-season rushing record. His unstoppable 2024 campaign saw him break the record for 70-yard touchdown runs while showcasing unmatched explosiveness.
His skill set promises to translate seamlessly to the professional level and would be a dream fit for this Dallas Cowboys offense.

13) Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
Miami Dolphins
It’s not a glamorous pick, but it’s how winning teams draft. Selecting Tyler Booker in the first round might not win instant fans, yet his ability to protect the quarterback and open up rushing lanes ultimately will.
A beast on the ground and a dominant pass protector, he’ll quickly adapt to the professional level with a unique blend of strength and speed among interior linemen this year.

14) Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green
Indianapolis Colts
You don’t have to be shocked; Harold Fannin Jr. is the best yards-after-catch threat at the tight end position we’ve seen in years. Thanks to his sure hands, outstanding blocking, and work ethic, Fannin became TE1 in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
The Colts will be able to use his ability to line up anywhere on the field and excel both before and after the catch, making him a perfect fit for any offensive scheme.

15) Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Atlanta Falcons
Mykel Williams is a versatile and dominant edge presence, delivering unmatched value to his defensive scheme. Thriving as both a pure edge rusher and a disruptive force along the front, he exploits mismatches to alter games, consistently overpowering linemen with raw power and an explosive first step to create chaos in the backfield.
16) Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
Arizona Cardinals
An imposing force off the edge, Nic Scourton heads north to his new team with elite potential and the promise of an immediate impact on the defensive front. His pre-draft numbers suggest explosive capability, and if he can fully realize that potential, the long-term rewards for the franchise could be substantial.
In the right system, translating his raw ability to on-field production should be a seamless process, setting the stage for what could be a game-changing selection.
17) Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Cincinnati Bengals
Tyler Warren is a dominant force, and Penn State knew how to creatively utilize his talents—whether snapping, holding, or making big plays downfield. His impressive blend of size, speed, and athleticism makes him a reliable target with a massive catch radius and a serious threat after the catch.
18) Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
Seattle Seahawks
Cameron Williams has been a standout presence for his team’s offensive line all season, with exceptional length, power, and balance that make him a natural fit for the NFL. His versatility means he’s equally adept at playing both right and left tackle, ready to contribute immediately and evolve for the future.
19) Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Luther Burden is a dynamic playmaker and route-running wizard, ready to make an impact from any position on the field. A rare talent with top-tier draft projections since high school, he has consistently lived up to the hype.
At Missouri, he showcased elite yards-after-catch ability and a natural flair for making game-changing plays in any situation. Now, imagine Burden occupying the middle of the field while Chris Godwin and an aging Mike Evans receive favorable matchups on the outside. Baker would be one happy dude.

20) Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Denver Broncos
Rising up draft boards nearest you, Matthew Golden has some of the smoothest footwork in this class. He’s not a WR1, but the Broncos don’t need him to be. In fact, Golden can pencil into a mismatch on the inside, a movable chess piece they can align all over the field and find favorable matchups for Bo Nix and Co. to exploit.
21) Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Pittsburgh Steelers
Josh Simmons was a dominant portion of the beginning stages of Ohio State’s national championship season. However, after an injury cut his season short in Eugene, Simmons had to watch from the sidelines.
Rewind back to the dominance displayed during his 2023 season at left tackle and it’s clear why the Steelers lock up his services here. Dominant in all facets, Simmons is a lean monster of a man with bad intentions, a strong anchor, and even better footwork.
22) Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Los Angeles Chargers
Benjamin Morrison’s standout performance at Notre Dame—even in a shortened season—cemented his reputation as a true lockdown cornerback with exceptional ball skills, athleticism, and an uncanny ability to dominate at the catch point, making him a nightmare for any receiver. The Chargers can use his elite potential on the outside to help bolster a secondary in need of some talent.
23) Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Green Bay Packers
Once a first-round lock, Emeka Egbuka opted to return to Ohio State for another season, evoking the legacy of former Buckeyes stars like Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Chris Olave. That gamble paid off as Egbuka and the Buckeyes won the College Football Playoff National Championship.
With WR1 skills and the versatility to excel from any alignment, his elite ball skills and unmatched body control make him a game-changer who can thrive in any offense, offering an immediate impact with his ability to dominate from the line of scrimmage.
24) Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Minnesota Vikings
Malaki Starks stands out as one of the most electrifying prospects in the 2025 draft class, prompting one team to make a bold move to secure him amid stiff competition. His versatility across safety positions and standout ball skills in coverage are poised to be game-changing assets.
25) Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Houston Texans
Few interior defenders made their presence felt more than Derrick Harmon did in 2024, if any. Harmon impacted games for the Ducks, whether it was against the pass or against the run all the same.
He’ll slice through slower linemen in the middle or simply overpower them with an array of pass-rush moves, and he always seems to come out on top with his pass-rush game plan.

26) Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
Los Angeles Rams
Jalon Walker is a dynamic talent who could excel as a down lineman at the next level. He’s versatile and athletic, and Walker thrives in open space—whether defending against the run or pass.
As good as Walker could be on the edge, his three-down linebacker skills drive his asking price in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, as they should be able to enable him to impact the game in every facet.
27) Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Baltimore Ravens
A sleeper no more, Armand Membou’s meteoric rise in the pre-draft process has been realized. The Ravens make the decision to place the two-year starter from Missouri on the right side of their defensive line after he’s impressed since the season ended.
But that’s not where it began as Membou was a stalwart in pass protection and a physically dominant run blocker the better part of two seasons for the Tigers.
28) Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Detroit Lions
The Senior Bowl is good for a lot of things, but showcasing to the world that a Group of Five talent like Mike Green can be just as good — if not better — than everyone else on the field is certainly among its best facets.
Green was simply dominant in Mobile, and that showcases how his game is going to translate over from Marshall: dominantly. He’s fast. He’s strong. He’s got a great game plan. And quite simply put, Green is one of the most athletically gifted players in this entire class.

29) Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
Washington Commanders
Tre Harris is a true WR1 and an alpha presence on the outside, showcasing rare talent and exceptional athleticism for his size while excelling at high-pointing the football and tracking passes with remarkable precision. With elite intangibles, he has the pedigree to be the bonafide threat any offense needs to complement its receiving core.
His presence on the Commanders’ offense would give Jayden Daniels an elite outside receiver and an emerging cast of characters to find underneath.
30) Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Buffalo Bills
Nick Emmanwori is poised to dominate the pre-draft process—potentially shattering combine speed records and capturing every head coach’s attention—with his rare three-down ability at safety, versatility in the secondary, elite athleticism, and a rapidly evolving coverage game that underscore his enormous professional potential.
31) Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Philadelphia Eagles
Shemar Stewart is a dynamic edge defender known for his versatility and immense potential. A top recruit, he is beginning to live up to his promise, whether rushing off the edge or overpowering interior linemen, proving himself an undeniable force on the field.
32) Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Kansas City Chiefs
The Michigan passing game was abhorrent in 2024. And that’s putting it nicely. However, if there was a beckon of hope, it was Colston Loveland. Actually, if it weren’t for Loveland, the Wolverines may have not won a single game.
Loveland takes the mantle of Travis Kelce as we’re sure to hear a ton about his potential retirement this offseason. If it’s not the 2025 season Loveland takes over, it’s 2026, as he’s ready to go right now with his three-down tight end abilities.
