Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has cleared up rumors that he owns a Lamborghini in a recent interview. While discussing a variety of topics—including his decision to commit to Texas and becoming the next starting quarterback of the program—he also revealed to ESPN analyst and reporter Marty Smith that he does not own a Lamborghini, despite the speculation.
The humorous interaction took place ahead of the upcoming college football season, in which Manning is expected to take over for Quinn Ewers as the starting quarterback of the historic program.
Does Arch Manning Have a Lamborghini?
Manning made it clear that he does not own a Lamborghini and that he was simply a passenger in one belonging to a friend. In the interview, Smith mistakenly believed Manning was the owner of the luxury car.
“I don’t have a Lambo,” Manning said. “I don’t have a Lambo. I’m not a Lambo guy, I’m not that flashy. My buddy Michael Taaffe has one, and I went in it last week. It’s pretty cool.”
Arch Manning Future Prospects
Manning is a member of the legendary Manning quarterback family, which includes his grandfather, Archie, and uncles Peyton and Eli. Though those are big shoes to fill, he is one of the most highly regarded prospects in the nation and is widely expected to be one of the first picks in the 2026 NFL Draft when he becomes eligible.
Next season, Manning is likely to become the Longhorns’ full-time starter. In limited playing time this season behind Ewers, he threw for 939 yards, accounted for 13 total touchdowns, and posted a completion percentage of 67.8%. As a result, expectations are high for Manning as he prepares to take over the starting job.
In College Football Network’s recent all-eligible 2025 NFL mock draft, Manning was selected No. 3 overall by the New York Giants. This mock draft considered all college football players, regardless of their draft eligibility, meaning Manning went No. 3 despite not being eligible for another year.
“Texas’ future looks bright, with Arch Manning waiting in the wings. Manning impressed in limited action this season, throwing for 939 yards and nine touchdowns while showcasing his dual-threat ability with four rushing scores.
