Earlier in the week, NFL Network draft insider Daniel Jeremiah released his first top 50 prospect rankings list ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. The rankings featured numerous Alabama Crimson Tide players, including linebacker Jihaad Campbell and offensive lineman Tyler Booker; however, they did not feature the program’s star quarterback, Jalen Milroe.
Jalen Milroe Ranked Outside Top 50 NFL Draft Prospects
Milroe had an up-and-down season for the Crimson Tide this year. He threw for 2,844 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. On the ground, he tallied 726 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns.
Popular college football analyst and writer Mike Rodak took to social media to showcase Jeremiah’s ranking and highlight how Milroe wasn’t included on the list.
“Tyler Booker and Jihaad Campbell in Daniel’s top 15, but no Jalen Milroe in the top 50,” Rodak stated.

It appears that Milroe’s draft stock may be heading in the wrong direction as of late. In a practice in the lead-up to the Senior Bowl, reports began emerging that Milroe was struggling with his accuracy during some passing drills. This draft stock sentiment is evident in Milroe’s absence from Jeremiah’s Top 50.
Jalen Milroe 2025 NFL Draft Projection
Despite Jeremiah omitting Milroe from his Top 50, College Football Network recently released its Ultimate Top 300 Big Board, a list that ranks draft-eligible players based purely on talent and not team needs or positional value. In that ranking, Milroe was listed as the 39th best available prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Milroe is a very quick quarterback who has proven dynamic and explosive with the ball in his hands this past season. However, there were times when the quarterback struggled with accuracy and consistently moving the ball through the air. As a result, there are still many unanswered questions about how Milroe’s skill set will translate to the NFL level.

Elsewhere in the ranking, Booker was ranked the No. 25 prospect in the draft, while Campbell was listed as the No. 33rd best player available.
Should this ranking be any indication as to how the actual 2025 NFL Draft will go, Booker would be the only Crimson Tide player selected within the first round. Meanwhile, Campbell and Milroe would both be second-round picks.
